The Problem

The challenge we faced at AI Advantage was the oversaturation of social networking apps in the market. Despite the plethora of platforms available for connecting with others, users often found their experiences lacking in satisfaction and personalization. Key issues included:

1. Privacy Concerns: Users were increasingly worried about their data privacy and the limited control they had over their personal information on existing platforms.

2. Content Overload: Many social networks overwhelmed users with excessive content, making it difficult to filter and view relevant information from their connections.

Our goal was to address these pain points by creating a more secure and personalized social networking experience.

Approach

To address these challenges and develop a social networking app that genuinely connects people, we adopted the following approach:

1. Privacy-Centric Design: Our app, Friendi, was built with a strong focus on user data protection and privacy. It allows users to have granular control over their personal information and who can access it.
